Republic Airways CEO Appointed as FAA Administrator

United States President Donald Trump announced on Monday, March 17, that he has appointed Republic Airways CEO Bryan Bedford as Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

The appointment comes at a time when the FAA is under increased scrutiny following a deadly plane crash in January and a series of safety issues involving Boeing.
