World-renowned publication National Geographic introduced millions to Göreme, the heart of Cappadocia, with a video published on its Instagram account, @netgeotravel, which boasts 46 million followers. The video, featuring iconic details ranging from hot air balloons dotting the sky to rock-carved churches that have stood the test of time, reveals Cappadocia's captivating atmosphere.

The video, which highlights not only the visual beauty of Cappadocia but also the efforts to preserve its cultural and natural heritage, was highly acclaimed.

Aslanbay: “Cappadocia is a window opening to the whole world”

Cappadocia Area Manager Cem Aslanbay, commenting on the post shared by National Geographic, which has millions of followers, as an important development for the region, made the following statement:

"Cappadocia is not only a region that bears the traces of the past, but also a universal legacy to be left to the future. Being featured on a respected platform like National Geographic offers us a unique opportunity to share this valuable heritage with the world."

Cappadocia Site Manager Aslanbay emphasized that this promotion is of great importance not only for tourism but also for sustainability and the preservation of cultural heritage:

“As the Cappadocia Area Management, we see such international promotions not only as a touristic call, but also as an important opportunity to preserve cultural heritage and pass it on to future generations.”

Aslanbay stated that their efforts to promote every point under the Cappadocia Area Directorate will continue uninterruptedly in line with the strategies determined by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
