Tourists in a hotel in the Bodrum district of Muğla, suffering from sweltering temperatures in their rooms after the air conditioning failed following a power outage, went to the reception desk and protested against the staff. A large group gathered in the hotel lobby and outside, demanding a solution.

Some tourists declared the situation unacceptable and demanded a refund, while others requested a transfer to another hotel. Tensions flared at times, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the hotel after receiving a tip. Some tourists left the hotel, while others, who had spent the night outside, returned the next morning after the situation was resolved.
