Musk opened a poll for the new party again from his account on the X social media platform, which he owns.
'A PERFECT TIME'
Drawing attention to the fact that today is "July 4th Independence Day" in the USA , Musk said, "Independence Day is the perfect time to ask whether you want independence from the two-party (some say one-party) system."
SURVEY RESULTS ARE SURPRISING
Approximately 240,000 people have participated in the survey opened by Musk asking "Should we establish an American Party ?" So far, 62 percent of the participants said "yes" while 38 percent said "no."
WHAT HAPPENED?
Elon Musk, who fell out with President Donald Trump due to the tax cut regulation that sparked controversy in the US public, first shared the idea of establishing a new political party called the "American Party" with the public at the beginning of June.
Musk, who conducted a survey on the X platform regarding the idea of establishing a new party, made the following assessment, referring to the survey result: "People have spoken. There is a need for a new political party that will represent the middle 80 percent in the US. Exactly 80 percent of people agree. This is destiny."
Trump , on the other hand, stated that he was very disappointed with the statements of Musk, who left his post in the White House and made harsh criticisms of the tax cut bill passed by Congress yesterday.
