MoD sources: SDF did not meet conditions

A press briefing was held today at the Ministry of National Defense ( MSB ). Relaying important messages on Syria , MSB sources emphasized that the terrorist organization SDF has not fulfilled any of the terms of the agreement signed between the Syrian government and the terrorist organization SDF on March 10. "They have continued their attempts to undermine Syria's political unity and territorial integrity," the MSB sources stated, adding, "The separatist rhetoric voiced by the SDF at the conference held in Hasakah on August 8 is incompatible with the agreement they signed with the Syrian government." The MSB sources continued as follows: "The Syrian government's calls for "One State, One Army" are essential for the long-awaited environment of peace and stability in the region. Our expectation is full compliance with the signed agreement and its immediate implementation in the field, leading to the construction of a stable, peaceful, secure, and terror-free Syria. We have defended Syria's political unity and territorial integrity from the very beginning, and we will continue to do so." In this context, we have taken this request one step further with the memorandum of understanding signed yesterday on joint training and consultancy. "JOINT TRAINING AND CONSULTANCY MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING" SIGNED WITH SYRIA Ministry sources also made a statement regarding the content of the "Joint Training and Consultancy Memorandum of Understanding" signed by Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler with his Syrian counterpart. Underlining the determination to support Syria's fight against terrorism, Ministry sources said, "The memorandum in question aims to coordinate and plan military training and cooperation, share information and experience through consultancy, ensure the procurement of military equipment, weapon systems, logistics materials and related services in line with defense needs, and provide technical support and training for their use when needed."
