Man arrested for trying to set forest on fire

The dry grass that started burning in Ankara at around 18:30 on August 20 was quickly extinguished with the support of citizens.
The General Directorate of Security Public Security Branch Directorate teams launched an investigation into the incident and contacted the SAH, who was at the scene at the time of the fire.
SAH said that when he and his wife entered the METU Forest to do sports, they saw a person, 1.70-1.80 tall, wearing a blue t-shirt, leaving the area. When they entered the forest, they noticed dry grass burning at 10-meter intervals.
As a result of the teams' work, it was determined that DP started the fire and was caught in a short time.
The suspect, who was referred to the courthouse after the procedures, was arrested by the court to which he was brought.
