Reacting to the wave of operations targeting CHP municipalities and the recent arrest of Bayrampaşa Mayor Hasan Mutlu, İmamoğlu said, "The people of Bayrampaşa will never forget this evil. The end of this system of threats, blackmail, and conspiracies is near."

İmamoğlu also responded to AKP President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's references to the "Escobar scheme" and "the great radish" by saying, "It has become clear who set up the Escobar scheme. It has become clear who has the great radish in his bag."

WHAT DID ERDOĞAN SAY?

AKP President Recep Tayyip made an "Escobar" reference to the CHP in his speech at his party's group meeting last week.

Erdoğan had said, "With the congress, the hood has been transferred to Mr. Özel.
