Following the announcement of the first placement results for the 2025 YKS (University Entrance Exam) process, candidates still dreaming of university are focusing on the availability of available places. Candidates who haven't been placed or haven't made a university selection are focusing on the available quota list to be used during the supplementary placement process. ÖSYM will publish the YKS vacant quota list before the supplementary placement period. The list will detail which universities and departments have available vacancies. In previous years, the quota list was made available a few weeks after the initial placement results. For 2025, the vacant quotas are expected to be announced along with the YKS supplementary placement guide.

The YKS vacant quotas and YKS minimum scores for the supplementary preference period will be published in the supplementary preference guide prepared by ÖSYM. Candidates can access this list on ÖSYM's official website. The table will detail university names, faculties, departments, and quotas.
