In an article published anonymously in the Israeli newspaper Haaretz, an Israeli reservist stated that civilian detainees from Gaza were subjected to systematic torture in Sde Teiman and that these abuses were ignored and covered up by the media .

The genocidal Israeli soldier reported that some Gazan civilians lost their lives due to "severe torture" and some underwent surgery without anesthesia.

The soldier, who served in the genocidal attacks carried out by the Tel Aviv administration in Gaza, noted that Sde Teiman Prison had turned into a "death and torture center."

The Israeli soldier said most of the detainees subjected to torture were not members of Hamas , adding that most of them were civilians from Gaza and were detained only for interrogation.

"Despite being innocent, they were subjected to severe torture. I saw a detainee dying in front of my eyes, and I saw detainees being forced to urinate and defecate on themselves, and being left without food or medical treatment," the Israeli soldier said, emphasizing that what happened in Sde Teiman was not an isolated incident, but rather a systematic policy carried out with the knowledge of army commanders and the assistance of the Israeli media.
