Fire in Karabük: Four neighborhoods and a village evacuated

Four neighborhoods and a village were evacuated in Karabük due to the forest fire that has been burning for two days.
Air and land intervention continues in the fire that broke out yesterday (July 28) in the forest area of Kahyalar village in the city center and spread due to the wind.
For security reasons, the following areas were evacuated:
- Kahyalar village
- Kabaoğlu neighborhood
- Cakirlar neighborhood
- Kaleköy central neighborhood
- Sarikonak neighborhood
The Karabük Governorship announced that officials are examining the ongoing fires in the Safranbolu and Ovacık districts, as well as the efforts to extinguish the forest fire in Kahyalar village of the central district.

Four helicopters, 174 vehicles and 481 personnel are responding to the fire.
Governor Yavuz stated that all state institutions are on duty in the field to bring the fire under control as quickly as possible and to ensure the safety of the lives of citizens, and that all precautions are being taken meticulously to ensure the safety of the lives and property of citizens.
