Fire breaks out at Abadan oil refinery in southwestern Iran

According to Iranian state television, a fire broke out in unit 75 of the oil refinery in the city of Abadan, in the country's southwestern Khuzestan province.
According to information received from local sources, due to the fire at the refinery, the sky around the refinery was covered with a cloud of smoke.
The Refineries and Distribution Company, affiliated with the Ministry of Petroleum, announced that the fire was completely under control thanks to the intervention of firefighters.
It was reported that the cause of the fire was a leak in one of the pumps in unit 75 of the refinery and that, according to initial findings, no evidence of sabotage or human factors was found.
It was reported that one person working at the refinery died in the incident.
