Driver who ignored stop warning crashed into police officer

The teams performing traffic enforcement at the Laodicea Bridge location on the Denizli-Aydın highway in the Merkezefendi district wanted to stop the car driven by ME.

The driver, who did not obey the teams' "stop" warning, hit the police officer while trying to escape. The driver then hit the back of the truck driven by Ü.G., which was driving in front of him.

Upon notification, medical teams were dispatched to the scene. According to AA, the injured police officer was taken to Pamukkale University Hospital by ambulance.

The driver ME and the person next to him, SR, were detained. The suspects were found to be under the influence of alcohol during a blood test at the hospital.
