Ayhan Bora Kaplan case: Court requested expert report

The bribery case, in which the criminal organization leader Ayhan Bora Kaplan is also on trial, continued.

While the defendants who were not detained attended the hearing at the Ankara 33rd High Criminal Court, Kaplan, who was detained for another case, did not attend.

After reading the documents sent to the case file, the chief justice gave the floor to the prosecutor.

The public prosecutor requested an expert report to be obtained from a committee consisting of retired Court of Accounts auditors in order to determine the financial criminal liability of the defendants regarding their criminal actions.

The court, which gave its interim decision, ruled that an expert report be obtained from a panel of five retired Court of Accounts auditors.

The hearing was adjourned until December 2.
