Awaiting TFF's decision! Critical application from Fenerbahçe

The Yellow Canaries aim to protect the health of their players by setting an example for similar postponements in the past season; the TFF's decision will be announced within two days.

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE INTENSITY GIVEN AS A REASON

The reason for the application was the fixture list, which includes matches against Feyenoord in the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round. Fenerbahçe will face Feyenoord away on August 6, then play Alanyaspor on August 9, and then face Feyenoord in the second leg on August 12.

3 MATCHES IN 6 DAYS

The club stated that holding three important matches in six days would cause significant physical strain on the players. Therefore, they requested the postponement of the match against Alanyaspor.

Fenerbahçe also presented to the TFF examples of previous seasons where league matches were postponed before or after European Cup matches. They requested that a similar policy be implemented.

TFF'S DECISION WILL BE ANNOUNCED WITHIN 2 DAYS

The Turkish Football Federation's response to Fenerbahçe's request will be clear within two days. It is eagerly awaited whether the TFF will evaluate the club's request and decide on a postponement.
