Aviation Education Fair IFTE 2025 opened its doors to visitors

The Istanbul Flight Training Exhibition (IFTE), the largest flight training fair in Türkiye and the region, has opened its doors to visitors for the 7th time. The fair, which is held at the Atatürk Airport Terminal C and can be visited until May 11, aims to provide a solution to the need for qualified human resources at a time when airline companies are increasing their aircraft orders. The panels, career meetings and sectoral evaluation sessions organized within the scope of the fair, which attracted the participation of over 70 companies from Turkey, Europe, the Middle East and Asia, will guide young people who want to start their careers in the sky.
Career meetings at the fairThe Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure's General Directorate of Civil Aviation and the General Directorate of State Airports Authority, as well as Türkiye's leading airline companies such as THY, Pegasus, and SunExpress, came together with young talents at IFTE 2025 and shared information about new personnel recruitment.
Italian aircraft manufacturer Blackshape took its first step into the Turkish market with IFTE. The company's Gabriel BK160-200 model, developed for training and general purpose use, was introduced for the first time in Türkiye as part of the fair.
Provides simulator experienceAs is the case every year, one of the most striking areas for participants at this year's fair was once again the flight simulators. Airline companies and educational institutions will provide pilot candidates with one-on-one training opportunities with simulators that will provide the closest environment to real flight experience. Participation is free, and you can reach the fair via the Yenikapı-Atatürk Airport metro line, while the airport parking lot is also free of charge throughout the fair.
"We bring together educational institutions and candidates"Fair organizer Murat Herdem said, "The aviation sector in Türkiye has gained increasing momentum. Here, we bring together many companies such as pilots, cabin crew, air traffic controllers who aim to pursue a career in the aviation sector, companies in the field, educational institutions and candidates. We have airline companies, flight schools, simulator companies, language schools, universities, high schools. They all come together and here, young people take the first step of a career plan for their future in this organization. Aviation is always an attractive and opportunity-providing field. When you look at it, it is a field that offers good economic opportunities compared to other business fields. This is where they can get the most accurate advice from the most accurate names regarding their careers. Young people are very interested. The aviation sector is developing and offers opportunities in terms of employment. The number of institutions is also increasing in parallel with the development of the aviation sector. Our fair started on Friday, we will be here until Sunday evening. It is open to everyone, they can visit free of charge."
