An old man who went to pick beets was rescued by a helicopter!

Mehmet Akboğa, 70, who fell and broke his leg while collecting beets in the mountainous region of Hakkari, was rescued by a military helicopter with the coordinated work of the gendarmerie and AFAD teams.
How Was He Rescued?
When there was no news from Akboğa, gendarmerie, AFAD, UMKE and fire brigade teams took action. As a result of search and rescue efforts in the region, Akboğa was determined to be in a mountainous and rocky area and since it was not possible to reach him by land, he was taken by military helicopter and brought to Fatih Barracks. From there, he was transferred to Hakkari State Hospital by ambulance.
How is the health status?
According to initial assessments by doctors, Akboğa's general health condition is good. While necessary medical interventions were applied due to the fracture in his foot, hospital officials stated that the patient was stable.
