AJet Makes First Flight to Aleppo

The company made its first flight to Damascus on July 1, 2025, and its first flight from Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport to Aleppo on August 2, 2025.
Flight VF340 landed at Aleppo International Airport after a roughly two-hour flight. The aircraft was greeted with a water salute, a tradition in aviation. Representatives of the Syrian Civil Aviation Authority, AJet senior management, and airport managers attended the ceremony.
AJet General Manager Kerem Sarp said, "After Damascus, we have opened our second route in Syria, to Aleppo. We are pleased to add this historically and strategically important city to our flight network. With the Aleppo route, we aim to meet the increasing transportation needs amid the reconstruction process in the region."
Direct flights on the Istanbul-Aleppo route will be operated four days a week: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
