After Leman magazine, Leman Culture Cafe was also attacked

An investigation was launched into the popular humor magazine Leman on the grounds that it depicted the Prophet Muhammad and was accused of 'insulting religious values'. As part of the investigation, four people were detained. The magazine's cartoonist, graphic designer and editor-in-chief were taken into custody by police teams after lying on the ground and being handcuffed behind their backs. Following these developments, a group of Sharia supporters attacked Leman's building in Beyoğlu. The large group attacked the magazine's building in Taksim with rocks and sticks.

ATTACK ON LEMAN KÜLTÜR IN BAKIRKÖY A group attacked Leman Kültür in Bakırköy chanting takbirs. The people in the group threw the stones in their hands at the windows of the cafe and broke them. On the other hand, the police fired into the air at that moment.
