A Microsurgery Training Center opened at Beyoğlu Eye Training and Research Hospital.

The Microsurgery Training Center at Beyoğlu Eye Training and Research Hospital, one of two eye hospitals affiliated with the Ministry of Health and operating since 2001, has opened. The opening ceremony, attended by Istanbul Provincial Health Director Abdullah Emre Güner, was attended by physicians, residents, and invited guests. The Microsurgery Training Center aims to provide specialists and residents with hands-on experience with the microscopes and instruments used in operating rooms. It also aims to provide them with hands-on experience with artificial eyes, simulating surgical procedures performed on live eyes. The Microsurgery Training Center provides residents with valuable experience before beginning surgery and provides opportunities to facilitate the surgical procedures.
"As the Ministry of Health, we will continue to provide all kinds of support to our hospitals and universities."Istanbul Provincial Health Director Abdullah Emre Güner made a statement at the Microsurgery Training Center, which opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Güner stated that the Ministry trains specialists and residents at the eye hospital to serve all of Türkiye. He said, "Our physicians serve the entire world, because, as you know, Istanbul is the health capital of the world, where citizens from over 200 countries come to receive services. Twenty physicians graduate from here every year. They are spreading the academic mission they learned in Beyoğlu Göz Hospital throughout Türkiye. They are spreading their knowledge throughout Türkiye to provide excellent service to our citizens, providing them with excellent service at a different level. May God grant them success. As the Ministry of Health, we will continue to provide all kinds of support to our hospitals and universities in this area of education. We hope that all our specialists and residents who receive training here will bring health and healing to our citizens."
"It was a dream of mine and we had it as a project in our minds for a long time."Beyoğlu Eye Training and Research Hospital Chief Physician Prof. Dr. Muhittin Taşkapılı said, "Beyoğlu Eye Hospital truly holds a significant place in Türkiye's specialist training program. We are a preferred hospital with the highest scores in the Specialization in Specialization Exam (TUS). My fellow instructors and I are constantly evaluating and discussing what we can do to help our residents provide healthier and better services. I've had this dream as a project for a long time, but of course, it just happened to happen that we finally got around to it. I truly believe it will be a significant contribution to our fellows. We haven't experienced this period like this, but if they appreciate its value and truly utilize it, there's no limit to what can be achieved here."
