Lokomotiv legionnaire returns to training after injury


Richard Panik, a Slovak forward and a legionnaire of the hockey club Lokomotiv, returned to training after suffering an injury. Photos from the club training were published by the hockey club Lokomotiv.
Richard Panik was injured on April 23, during a match with Avangard. In the middle of the field, he was knocked down by another Lokomotiv legionnaire, Byron Frez. The hockey players collided at high speed, Panik was hit in the face.
After the match, Igor Nikitin, head coach of Lokomotiv, said that the injury was serious. But a few days later he admitted that Panik could take to the ice until the end of the season.
Richard Panik went out to practice wearing a special helmet that protects his face. He may be able to return to the game lineup on May 13, in the match against Traktor.
