According to French media, citing researchers, an ordinary incident has occurred in France. A unique medical case has been discovered: a resident of Guadeloupe has been found to have a previously unknown 48th blood group.

She is the only carrier of this type of blood in the world. The unique case was studied by medical biologist Thierry Peyrard. As a result, the new blood type was named "gwada negative" - in honor of the motherland where the patient was born.
