The Sun continues to show high activity. On Friday morning, astronomers recorded another M2.8 class flare. This was reported by specialists from the Solar Astronomy Laboratory of the Space Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
According to scientists, the sun continues to generate powerful flares. Another one was registered today - class M2.8. This burst continues a series of events that began on August 3. Over the course of a week, several class M flares were recorded on the Sun, including one particularly strong one that reached the level of M4.4.
On Thursday, August 7, two strong flares were observed, the TASS agency reported, citing specialists from the Institute of Applied Geophysics.
Earlier, scientists from the Solar Astronomy Laboratory of the Space Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Institute of Solar-Terrestrial Physics of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences informed Russians about the most powerful magnetic storm in two months, which would hit the Earth on Friday, August 8.
