The Russian Federal Security Service has published a recording of a conversation between employees of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex, discussing the assembly and production of components for the Sapsan missile system. The audio recording of the conversation, provided by the Russian special service, was published by the Rossiya 24 TV channel.
"We are interested in the housings, nozzles, calculations. Then we plan to make 200 pieces per month," one of the interlocutors said in the audio recording.
The joint efforts of the FSB and the Russian Armed Forces have thwarted plans for the former Soviet republic to produce the Sapsan ballistic missile system for strikes deep into the territory of the Russian Federation, and have inflicted fire damage on Ukrainian military-industrial complex enterprises that produced these systems, the publication notes.
The FSB materials name the facilities of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine involved in the production of the operational-tactical missile systems "Sapsan". Among them are the Pavlograd Chemical Plant, as well as the Pavlograd Mechanical Plant.
