The federal budget will cover all obligations, the head of the Ministry of Finance stated.
Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov announced budget priorities for 2026–2028 at the Moscow Financial Forum.
The minister stated that this is the fulfillment of all obligations to citizens and businesses, defense and security, as well as the national goals set by President Vladimir Putin, RIA Novosti reports .
As Siluanov emphasized, the Russian budget must be strong and protected from any external influences. At the same time, it is necessary to improve the efficiency of enterprises and improve labor productivity.
Siluanov also noted that the Russian economy must smoothly navigate the planned cooling period. In this regard, it's necessary "not to overdo it, but not to underdo it either," the minister added.
