Rosstat, the Central Bank, and the Ministry of Economic Development reported a slowdown in inflation.

According to their data, annual inflation slowed to 8.1%.

Rosstat reported a decrease in inflation for the week from September 9 to 15.

The indicator dropped to 0.04%, while the previous week inflation was 0.1%.

The statistical agency and the Central Bank estimated inflation in August at 8.1% per annum. This is 0.7% lower than in July, Interfax reports.

The Ministry of Economic Development estimated annual inflation in the Russian Federation as of September 15 at 8.02%.

The Bank of Russia aims to achieve a 4% annual rate by 2026 and is developing its monetary policy accordingly.
