Journalist, theater scholar, and director Elena Konchalovskaya, daughter of the renowned Andrei Konchalovsky, got married in Moscow. The wedding ceremony took place at Wedding Palace No. 1, where the couple officially registered their relationship in the presence of close friends and family. After the wedding, Elena took her husband's surname and now goes by the name Kolskaya.
The wedding ceremony took place in a warm and intimate atmosphere. The bride chose a modern and elegant look for the registration, eschewing a traditional gown. Elena appeared in a long white jacket and trousers, creating a stylish silhouette. The groom, for his part, opted for a classic black suit.
After the official ceremony at the registry office, the newlyweds and guests went to a restaurant to continue the celebration. The evening was filled with joy and positivity, marking a significant milestone in the couple's lives.
Elena Konchalovskaya, a GITIS graduate, is known for her multifaceted work. She organizes cultural events, writes poetry, short stories, and articles, and actively maintains a blog where she shares her thoughts on literature, cinema, and psychology.
Elena recently shared her thoughts on the challenges of creative work with readers, recalling an experience a year ago when she decided to make a documentary. Despite nearly completing filming, the film was never edited. She says this experience, fraught with mistakes, became an invaluable lesson, teaching her the importance of maintaining focus on meaning, form, and content.
Elena Konchalovskaya was born in the fourth marriage of director Andrei Konchalovsky and voice-over artist Irina Martynova. The couple lived together for seven years. Their eldest daughter, Natalia, was also born in this marriage.
Despite their parents' separation, both daughters maintained a connection to the art world. The elder sister, Natalya Konchalovskaya, followed in her father's footsteps, graduating from VGIK and, in 2021, releasing her debut feature film, "First Snow," starring Anna Peresild. The younger sister, Elena, trained as a theater critic and chose her own path, combining journalism, organizational work, and literary writing.
Earlier, director Konchalovsky became the new head of the artistic council of the Mossovet Theatre.
