The avalanche warning has been extended for another day in northern Buryatia.

The avalanche warning in Buryatia has been extended for another day, according to the regional branch of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The warning extends to the north of the republic.
The Buryatia Hydrometeorological Center clarified that avalanches are possible at the Davan-Goudzhekit Pass in the Severobaikalsky District between 8:00 a.m. (3:00 a.m. Moscow time) on November 11 and 8:00 a.m. on November 12. Therefore, rescuers urge residents and visitors to the region to refrain from hiking.
The avalanche warning was initially in effect from 8:00 a.m. Monday to 8:00 a.m. Tuesday.
It was previously reported that classes were cancelled in schools in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky due to bad weather .
