One of the victims of the fire at the enrichment plant in Yakutia has died

The republic's Ministry of Health clarified that the condition of the rest of those hospitalized has not changed.

One of the victims of the fire and explosion at the enrichment plant in Neryungri in southern Yakutia has died, the regional health ministry's press service reported.
The incident at the company's warehouse occurred on May 7. As a result of the incident, at least four people ended up in the hospital.
“Despite all the efforts of doctors and the resuscitation measures carried out, the man, who was in extremely serious condition, died from injuries incompatible with life,” the department noted on its Telegram channel.
The Ministry of Health offered condolences to the deceased's family and friends. The department also clarified that the condition of the other victims has not changed.
Let us recall that the total area of the fire at the enrichment plant in Neryungri was 300 square meters. Investigators opened a criminal case under Part 1 of Article 217 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of industrial safety requirements for hazardous production facilities, resulting in the inadvertent infliction of serious harm to human health).
