Karin Kneissl congratulated Russians on Victory Day

Former Austrian Foreign Minister Karin Kneissl congratulated Russians on Victory Day. She said that the ability of Russians to forgive and move on demonstrates a special strength.
“Thinking about all the victims and suffering of the Soviet Union, faced with the invasion of German tanks, soldiers of many European nations, I am amazed at the kindness of the Russians towards the aggressors,” she noted.
Kneissl said she would celebrate Victory Day in the village in front of the memorial.
