Red Bull Bragantino beats Santos and takes 3rd place in the Brasileirão

Last night, the 27th, Red Bull Bragantino achieved its fourth consecutive victory in the 2025 Brazilian Championship by beating Santos 2-1, in a game valid for the 6th round of the championship. This was only Braga's second victory at Vila Belmiro in the Brazilian Championship, now the retrospective has 5 victories for Santos, two draws and two victories for Braga.

With goals from Eduardo Sasha and Nacho Laquintana, Braga opened the scoring 2-0, Santos scored at the end of the match with a goal from Deivid Washington.

The triumph means that coach Fernando Seabra's team is now in third place in the competition, with 13 points. Toro Loko is behind only Palmeiras , due to goal difference, and Flamengo , who are just 1 point behind.

The Bragança Paulista club returns to the field on Thursday, the 1st, when it visits Criciúma in a match valid for the 3rd phase of the 2025 Copa do Brasil. The match will take place at the Heriberto Hülse Stadium at 6:30 pm (Brasília time).
