Leipzig are keeping a close eye on Schjelderup's situation. The club, which will be managed by Ole Werner, knows that the Norwegian has occupied a secondary position in Bruno Lage's options and, as such, could be available for a move this summer. Therefore, they are evaluating whether to make an offer for the forward.

The player was at the Club World Cup with the Reds and will report for training on the 14th. At this point, there are no offers to evaluate and, therefore, at this stage, the expectation is that he will join the squad next season. However, there are several clubs keeping an eye on the player's situation, such as Leipzig and PSV. As previously reported, the Dutch team is considering the young Benfica player to take the place of Noa Lang, who will be heading to Naples.
