Almost 21,000 people watched the MXGP Portugal live

The MXGP Portuguese Grand Prix weekend was marked by spectacle and exciting racing in very demanding conditions for the riders, due to heavy rain and mud that accumulated at the Águeda International Crosscourse. Despite the demanding conditions, thousands of people passed through the infrastructure.
According to data from the Águeda Action Club (ACTIB), and Infront, the international organization of MXGP, 20,600 people attended the Grand Prix in Águeda.
Following the race, the Crossódromo Internacional de Águeda, one of the most traditional and charismatic tracks on the MXGP calendar, was the target of several compliments. The improvements introduced to the circuit and the new features presented at the crossódromo pleased the riders and international entities.
In terms of organization, ACTIB received high praise from the International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) and Infront for the work carried out over the weekend, even in the face of difficult conditions due to heavy rain.
“Just like last year, the rain was once again a challenge, making conditions on the track and at the crossroads in general very difficult. Despite this, we once again demonstrated great organisational skills, which were widely praised. The spectacle provided to the thousands of fans and spectators who attended the MXGP of Portugal was of a high standard, proving once again the importance of Águeda in the Motocross World Championship calendar”, stresses Tiago Silva, president of ACTIB.
