Seven new companies in the ELITE program including Vanguard and Doutor Finanças

There is a new group of Portuguese companies (it is already the fifth group since the launch of the initiative) in ELITE, the European network of private SMEs that accelerates access to the capital market, both private and public.
Euronext, the leading pan-European market infrastructure, announced this Friday the integration of this fifth group of Portuguese companies into ELITE, its international ecosystem designed to support ambitious private companies in accelerating growth and global expansion.
The seven new companies – Aldeia, Doutor Finanças, InnowaveTechnologies, Greenlab, Vanguard Properties, VentilAQUA and Vipex – represent seven distinct sectors, including Construction and Materials, Utilities, Industrial Goods and Services, Real Estate Investment, Financial Services and Information Technologies.
Together, they generate more than 80 million euros in annual revenue and employ more than 700 professionals.
With this integration, ELITE's Portuguese network now has 36 companies in 16 sectors, which together generate more than 1.9 billion euros in revenue and employ more than 12,000 people.
As ELITE members, participating companies gain privileged access to Euronext’s vast network of resources, designed to drive sustainable, long-term growth.
The program supports their development across three key dimensions of capital: skills, network and financing – providing them with the tools to expand globally and strengthen their market position.
“This milestone also marks the third edition of the World Trade Center Lisboa International Academy by ELITE, reinforcing a strategic and successful partnership between ELITE and the World TradeCenter Lisboa”, says Euronext.
“United by a shared vision, this initiative provides Portuguese companies with a dynamic environment and the right tools to promote international connectivity, collaboration and sustainable growth,” he adds.
“The strategic relevance of the World Trade Center Lisboa InternationalAcademy by ELITE is reinforced by Portugal’s strong trajectory in international trade and investment”, highlights Euronext.
Under the Portugal 2020 program, more than 560 million euros were allocated to support the internationalization of Portuguese companies.
According to the most recent data from the World Bank, exports of goods and services represented around 50% of the national GDP, “reflecting the country's strong commitment to global integration”.
“This macroeconomic framework reinforces the crucial role of ELITE and WTC Lisbon in empowering high-potential companies with the knowledge, networks and resources needed to thrive internationally,” argues Euronext.
Marta Testi, CEO of ELITE, says that “with the launch of the fifth ELITE Portugal group – and the third in partnership with WTC Lisbon – we continue to accelerate the growth path of ambitious Portuguese companies, promoting innovation, good governance and access to capital”.
“The third edition of the World Trade Center Lisbon International Academy byELITE reaffirms our commitment to fostering global leadership and cross-border innovation. This initiative brings together top talent and international expertise, consolidating WTC Lisbon’s position on the global stage and projecting our network beyond borders,” highlights Luciano Menezes, CEO of World Trade Center Lisbon.
As ELITE members, participating companies now have “privileged access to Euronext’s vast network of resources, designed to drive sustainable, long-term growth,” Euronext recalls.
The program supports their development in three key dimensions of capital: skills, network and financing – providing them with the tools to expand globally and strengthen their market position, explains the company that manages the Portuguese stock exchange.
“At the heart of the World Trade Center Lisboa International Academy by ELITE is a comprehensive executive program, developed by Nova SBE Executive Education, the top-ranked international business school in Portugal,” he adds.
Participants also have access to four international workshops organized by ELITE at its European campuses – in Paris, Amsterdam, Lisbon and Milan – “addressing crucial topics such as negotiation in complex global environments, access to private and public capital, sustainability strategies and talent management”.
