Revenue releases consultation on the 2nd batch of the 2025 Income Tax refund; find out if you are one of the beneficiaries

The Federal Revenue Service opens this Monday, the 23rd, the consultation for the 2nd batch of the 2025 Income Tax refund. Starting at 10 am, the taxpayer will be able to visit the agency's portal to see if they are part of the second group, whose payment will be made on June 30th.
The batch totals R$11 billion in credits and should cover 6,545,322 people. To find out if the refund is available, the taxpayer must access the IRS website, then click on "My Income Tax" and then on "Check Refund".
According to the Federal Revenue Service, the 2nd batch will include:
- 148,090 refunds for seniors over 80 years old;
- 1,044,585 refunds for taxpayers between 60 and 79 years old;
- 91,363 refunds for taxpayers with some physical or mental disability or serious illness;
- 496,650 refunds for taxpayers whose main source of income is teaching;
- 4,764,634 taxpayers who received priority for using the pre-filled declaration or chose to receive the refund via Pix.
You can check whether your refund has been released or whether it is still being processed on the Federal Revenue website. On the link, you must enter your CPF and date of birth to access more information about the release of your refund.
Who is entitled to receive an Income Tax refund?According to the Federal Revenue Service, if when filling out the Income Tax return, the result is tax to be refunded, the excess amount of tax paid throughout the year will be returned to the bank account indicated in the return.
