Ex-wife admits to killing teacher with shoelace around her neck and is arrested

This Friday (09), the main suspect of having killed teacher Fernanda Bonin , in the south zone of São Paulo confessed to the crime. The person responsible for the death was the educator's ex-wife, Fernanda Fazio and according to information, the main reason was jealousy.

He gave himself up!

Veterinarian Fernanda Fazio confessed to having killed her ex-wife and was arrested by professionals from the Homicide and Personal Protection Department at her lawyer's office in Perdizes, West Zone of the city.

The Public Security Department confirmed, in a statement, the arrest of the victim's ex-partner, suspected of being the mastermind behind the crime, and stated that investigations are ongoing to conclude the case. Investigators have also requested the arrest of two other people, considered to be involved in the crime, but the court has not yet made a decision.

The body was discovered on Monday morning (28), in a vacant lot in the Interlagos region, near Avenida João Paulo da Silva, in the Vila da Paz neighborhood. The victim was lying on her back, with a shoelace around her neck, and showed signs of strangulation.

The police operation began after the teacher disappeared on Sunday (27). Security cameras recorded Fernanda alone at the wheel of her car, a silver Hyundai Tucson, around 6:50 pm. Since then, the vehicle has not been seen again and is still listed as unrecovered.

WHO WAS THE TEACHER FOUND DEAD?

This is Fernanda Reinecke Bonin , a mathematics teacher. She had been married for eight years to Fernanda Loureiro Fazio , 45, but had been separated for about a year due to a relationship crisis. Despite the breakup, they were still legally married and kept in touch because of the couple's two daughters.

In a police report, the ex-wife said that she called the teacher on the night of last Sunday (27) to ask for help since her car had technical problems on Avenida Jaguaré, in the west of the capital. Read more!
