PKO BP Ekstraklasa: Zagłębie Lubin - Motor Lublin. Live coverage and live score

After their 2-1 victory over Lech Poznań in the last round, the KGHM Zagłębie Lubin players are looking to build on their momentum and beat Motor Lublin this time. "Since I've been at Zagłębie, we've rarely been able to go on a winning streak. I believe this time will be different," said Michał Nalepa.
Zagłębie pulled off perhaps the biggest upset of the previous round, defeating the Polish champions 2-1 in Poznań. The victory was no fluke, as coach Leszek Ojrzyński's team played arguably their best match of the season.

"We took an early lead, which we later lost, but despite the atmosphere, which was certainly in Lech's favor, we refused to back down and settle for a single point. I think that was evident in the second half, where we played consistently and were able to take the lead again," admitted Zagłębie defender Michał Nalepa in an interview with club media.
The flattened table meant that the victory lifted Zagłębie from the relegation zone. Now the Lower Silesian team has two home matches on the horizon, and in Lubin, there's hope that coach Ojrzyński's team will improve their position even further.
"You can only get three points in every match, and it's important for us to keep going now. Since I've been at Zagłębie, we've rarely managed to go on a winning streak, but I believe this time will be different. This will give us confidence because we have a really good team and we can play good football," said Nalepa.
First up for Lubin on Sunday is Motor. The Lublin team also has nine points from seven matches, but trails Zagłębie in goal difference.
Nalepa admitted that his team has a plan for Sunday's match, but did not want to discuss the details.
"We know how Motor plays. They're a team that likes to keep possession. Coach Stolarski and I went to the same class in middle school and high school, so you could say I know a bit about his playing philosophy and how he views football. We've also analyzed Motor and are 100% prepared for the match," added the Zagłębie center-back.
Arka Gdynia will visit Lubin next week, but for now, no one in Zagłębie wants to go that far. As Nalepa said, the next match against Motor is the most important.
"The fans are our twelfth player, and that's not just a cliché. They've carried us forward many times with their support and helped us on the pitch. If anyone cares about Zagłębie and has the opportunity, I invite them to the stadium to create a fantastic atmosphere together," the player concluded.
