What to do to get real benefits from vitamin C?

• Avoid caffeine at least 2 hours before and after supplementation.
• Do not combine ascorbic acid with vitamin B12 – keep a few hours apart.
• In cosmetics, do not use vitamin C with retinoids and niacinamide at the same time.
• Do not combine cucumbers with foods rich in vitamin C – unless with the addition of lemon juice.
• Consult your doctor before using supplements if you are taking anticoagulant, antiviral or hormonal medications.
