The number of economic emigrants from Poland in the West will decrease
At the end of 2024, nearly 76,400 Poles had been abroad for more than six months. This is 1,500 fewer people than a year earlier and the lowest number in three years, according to the latest data from the Central Statistical Office (GUS) provided to "Rzeczpospolita." However, the office's press office emphasizes that these data, based on administrative registers, do not fully reflect the migration phenomenon, especially temporary migration. Many people do not report their temporary travel abroad to offices.
