They will remove many tariffs on US goods

Canada announced on August 22 that it was eliminating most of its 25% countervailing tariffs on U.S. goods. However, tariffs on U.S. cars, steel, and aluminum will remain in place.
As CNBC points out, in March, Canada imposed retaliatory tariffs of 25% on a long list of American products that comply with the North American Trade Agreement, after the United States announced 25% tariffs on steel and aluminum.
A White House official told NBC News that Canada's decision was "long overdue."
“We look forward to continuing discussions with Canada regarding the administration’s concerns regarding trade and national security,” the official said.
