The mobile gaming market in Poland is still growing. In five years, there will be over 7 million players.

By 2030, the number of mobile gaming users in Poland could exceed 7.1 million, with market revenues approaching $470 million, according to Statista. As the number of gamers grows, the mobile gaming market is also growing.
- There are about 3 billion mobile gamers in the world, half of which are in Asia and the Pacific, a large part in North and South America, while in Europe there is a lot to do - Adam Bialic, marketing manager at ZTE Polska and nubia, tells the Newseria agency.
According to Xsolla's Q1 2025 report, the global mobile gaming market is expected to grow at an increasingly rapid pace, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 11.3%. In 2025 alone, growth of 9.9% is projected year-on-year.
There's a visible shift in player engagement trends, with Generation Z and Generation Alpha leading the way. These players are completely transforming the gaming sector – they've been using digital technologies from a young age, and therefore are more likely to choose interactive content created by players and connected via social media. Cloud gaming is expected to generate $25.3 billion in revenue globally by 2029.
These trends are also having a significant impact on the Polish market. According to PMR data, in 2023, 36% of all video games in Poland were mobile titles, including those available via social media and web browsers. The same percentage was for desktop computers, and 28% for consoles.
Data from Statista analysts indicates that the Polish market is seeing a surge in innovative titles, reflecting a growing game developer community and increasing consumer engagement. Forecasts indicate that by 2030, the number of mobile game users in Poland will reach 7.1 million, with their market share rising to 18.4%, up from 15.6% this year.
"In Poland, the mobile gaming market is still in its infancy. Of course, there are quite a few mobile gamers in Poland. This group expands the general gaming population, as we have people interested in gaming on desktop computers and various consoles, so there are several platforms, and smartphones are one such platform these days. The group that declares itself as smartphone game users is the largest of them all—around 40 percent," says Adam Bialic.
- However, it is important to remember that this in some way diversifies the overall number of players, because those who actually play major titles on consoles or computers are not necessarily those who also play on smartphones.
Meanwhile, according to a representative of ZTE Polska, despite the growing number of gamers, the gaming smartphone market is not yet sufficiently developed, although it has great potential.
