The latest flash estimates from the Central Statistical Office show that inflation in June was 4.1% year-on-year and 0.1% month-on-month.
Prices of consumer goods and services in June 2025 increased year-on-year by 4.1 percent, and compared to the previous month increased by 0.1 percent - the Central Statistical Office reported in a quick estimate. Analysts expected prices to increase in June by 4 percent y/y and 0.1 percent m/m.

The data presented at the end of June are estimates of the Central Statistical Office. Full data on inflation in Poland will be published on July 15 .

Flash estimates also show that energy prices rose by 12.8% year-on-year, but fell by 0.3% month-on-month . Last month, these indicators amounted to a 13% increase year-on-year , and a drop of 0.3% month-on-month .

Fuels for private means of transport fell by 10% year-on-year and 1.3% month-on-month. In May, this decline was much more visible - it amounted to 11.4% year-on-year and 3.7% month-on-month .
The inflation reading is one of the main factors influencing the Monetary Policy Council's decision on interest rates . According to the inflation target of the National Bank of Poland, it is 2.5 percent year-on-year , with a permissible deviation of 1 percentage point "up" and "down". The range is therefore 1.5-3.5 percent.
