They cultivate local traditions, take care of cultural heritage, as well as develop entrepreneurship, passion and talents of women gathered in them, although there are also some men who are a part of it. Rural housewives' circles, because that's what we are talking about, play an invaluable role in rural communities, strengthening and uniting them. It was to them that last week's meeting was addressed under the slogan "With tradition into the future. KGW activity - practical aspects while preserving folk traditions and culture", organized by the Przemyśl branch of ARiMR in cooperation with the District Agricultural Advisory Team and the Przemyśl Public Library. It was a space for integration, exchange of experiences and education. There can never be too much of the latter, which is why the conference thematic blocks included elements devoted to: managing funds for the KGW activities (this was discussed by Bernardeta Wujec of ARiMR in Przemyśl), tax issues (this issue was raised by representatives of the Tax Office in Przemyśl), health issues and issues related to prevention (this area was explored by Anna Opalińska from PODR in Boguchwała) and culinary...
