Summer roadworks are in full swing. Drivers should expect delays.

The work on the provincial road network in the Podkarpacie region is extensive. With support from EU and government funds, as well as the provincial budget, the Podkarpackie Provincial Roads Authority in Rzeszów is implementing 40 road projects this year, with a total value of nearly PLN 3.5 billion.

For drivers from our region, significant difficulties occur on the route towards Przemyśl.

Voivodeship Road No. 865 is also being expanded from Koniaczów to Lipina (19.5 km), from Oleszyce to Cieszanów (10.3 km), and from Narol to the voivodeship border (3.2 km). Traffic disruptions for drivers include speed limits and several sections of alternating traffic. After these projects are completed and the new bridge in Jarosław is opened, the road will be almost completely rebuilt, with only the section between Cieszanów and Narol remaining to be completed. Road resurfacing work is also underway in Horyniec-Zdrój on Voivodeship Road No. 867 and between Stary and Nowy Lubliniec on DW 863. These disruptions are expected to cause only short-term traffic disruptions.

As for the west of Podkarpacie, On the national road 986, a viaduct over the railway and a bridge over the Wielopolka River are being constructed from the Ropczyce railway station to Ostrów. Three sections of alternating traffic are currently in effect. Traffic is expected to be diverted to the new structures during the summer holidays.
