Nawrocki faces major changes. How will he live after his inauguration?

Karol Nawrocki will be sworn in as president on August 6th. After taking the oath before the National Assembly, Nawrocki will formally become head of state. From then on, his life will change. Financially, Nawrocki will receive a salary increase. As head of the Institute of National Remembrance, Nawrocki earned PLN 14,029 gross and could count on a functional allowance of PLN 3,757 gross.
After being sworn in as president, the head of state's salary will consist of a base salary, a functional allowance, and a length-of-service bonus. The maximum amount may be approximately PLN 29,987 gross per month, or approximately PLN 21,000 net.
Higher salary, lifetime pay, and SOP protection. Nawrocki is facing big changes.Nawrocki doesn't have to worry too much about his future either. When he leaves office, he will be entitled to a lifetime monthly emolument equal to 75% of his base salary, as defined in the regulations on functional supplements. This amounts to PLN 19,728.35 gross.
While in office, Nawrocki will be subject to State Protection Service (SOP) protection, as will the facilities he resides in. The President's main residence is the Presidential Palace in Warsaw, located on Krakowskie Przedmieście Street. However, Nawrocki can use the Belweder Palace at Łazienki Królewskie Park, also located in the capital.

Nawrocki will also likely not be allowed to drive a car for security reasons. The head of state usually travels in a limousine, accompanied by the State Protection Service.
