Major renovations are coming up

The Radymno commune is planning significant road investments. The local government has just signed agreements for several projects important to residents.

Local road infrastructure will soon undergo significant changes. These are guaranteed by signed agreements for the reconstruction, repair, and paving of municipal roads and property. According to the local government, these changes will translate into improved local transport and increased safety.

As part of the reconstruction and renovation of municipal roads, along with the paving of municipally owned plots, specifically the second part of this project, the sidewalk leading to the church in Skołoszów will be renovated, and the areas in Nienowice and Zamojsce will be paved. The investment is expected to cost PLN 218,209.13 and will be implemented by Firma Usługowo-Handlowo-Produkcyjna L. Kochanowicz. The next task will involve the reconstruction and renovation of municipal roads in as many as 18 locations, specifically in the following towns: Zamojsce, Zabłotce, Korczowa, Młyny (road "RZS - Podolszyna" - Green Velo), Nienowice, Skołoszów (ul. Słoneczna and Karmelicka), Grabowiec, Budzyń, Chałupki Chotynieckie (internal, municipal road, Chałupki Chotynieckie - Łapajówka), Sośnica - Brzeg - Nienowice (internal road), Michałówka, Łazy (as many as three locations - internal road (2 standard exits), municipal road Łazy - Zagrody (intersection with a district road and hardening of the exit), internal road (hardening of the intersection - triangle), Chotyniec and Ostrów. This large-scale project for the amount of PLN 1,445,295.14 will be carried out by Usługi Transportowe Roboty Ziemne Stanisław Drak.

The third road challenge facing the Radymno commune is the construction and modernization of an access road to agricultural land within the village of Michałówka. The contract with the contractor [paywall] (Bieżące Utrzymace Dróg Mariusz Ślimak) was signed on July 22nd, and the work is expected to cost PLN 81,235.97. The local government managed to secure funding for this project from the Marshal's Office. These planned projects also include the reconstruction of five roads in the villages of Sośnica (2 roads), Ostrów, Zaleska Wola, and Święte.

This scope of work will be implemented thanks to a targeted subsidy from the state budget, specifically the government's development program for the northeastern border areas for 2024-2030. The agreement, signed at the Podkarpackie Voivodeship Office in Rzeszów, guarantees the local government a subsidy of PLN 1,902,908.42. The project is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
