Illegal goods discovered during shipment inspection at a sorting plant in Podkarpacie

Customs and Tax Service officers from the Podkarpackie Customs and Tax Office in Przemyśl inspected shipments at a sorting facility in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship. Using an X-ray machine, they discovered that 13 packages contained illegal electronic cigarettes and e-cigarette liquid.

1,800 e-cigarette liquids (totaling 54 liters) and 502 electronic cigarettes, filled with a total of 14.1 liters of liquid, were seized. Further investigation is being conducted by the Podkarpackie Customs and Tax Office in Przemyśl. "If the detected goods were sold illegally, the state budget would lose nearly PLN 170,000 in unpaid customs and tax duties," the Tax Administration Chamber in Rzeszów reported.
