The officers managed to locate the man, whom the District Court in Lubaczów issued four warrants for his removal to prison. The man had been convicted of misdemeanors for raising alarms without justification and misleading authorities, which resulted in unnecessary intervention by public institutions. According to the Code of Petty Offenses, specifically Article 66 § 1, "anyone who, in an attempt to provoke unnecessary action by a public utility institution, intentionally misleads it shall be subject to the penalty of arrest, restriction of liberty, or a fine." The 56-year-old was sentenced to a total of nearly two months in prison for these offenses. He was transferred to prison and will no longer escape justice.
