Sinner returns to Rome Masters tournament after doping suspension

Tennis player Jannik Sinner makes his comeback with a bye in the first round of the Masters tournament in Rome. The 23-year-old Italian, whose three-month doping suspension expired on 5 May, will face the winner of the match between Argentine Mariano Navone and Federico Cina from Italy in the second round.
Sinner initially got off scot-free after two positive tests for the banned substance clostebol, but doping authority WADA appealed. The world number 1 was then given a three-month suspension.
"I can't wait to play there again, but my comeback will also be difficult with so many eyes on me. I have no idea how other players will react," the three-time Grand Slam winner was already looking forward to his comeback in front of his home crowd.
