Cyclist Puck Pieterse has won the Walloon Arrow for the first time. The 22-year-old Dutch rider from Fenix-Deceuninck was too strong for compatriot Demi Vollering on the Mur de Huy, who finished second just like last year.
Pieterse, who recorded her second professional victory on the road, is the successor to the Polish Kasia Niewiadoma.
Seven-time winner Anna van der Breggen decided at the last minute not to start. She left the Amstel Gold Race prematurely on Sunday due to illness.
