Martinez and Pavard uncertain at Inter for CL clash with Barcelona
MILAN (ANP/AFP) - Internazionale coach Simone Inzaghi does not yet know whether he will have attacker Lautaro Martínez at his disposal for the return match against FC Barcelona in the semi-finals of the Champions League on Tuesday. The 27-year-old Argentine suffered a hamstring injury during the draw in Barcelona (3-3). Defender Benjamin Pavard is also still uncertain for the match in Milan.
"We will discuss it with the medical staff and the players, because they are the ones who have to tell me how they feel," Inzaghi said at the press conference the day before the match. "Yesterday Pavard took part in the first part of the training and he felt OK, so we will see. Lautaro has not trained since the last match with Barça, so let's see how he is today and then we will decide."
